He tossed himself easily onto the chairs of his dorm room and placed his iPhone down, it was okay for messaging but when it came to e-mails his laptop was considerably better. He pulled his black Mac Book onto his lap and glanced momentarily at the MacBook Air still in the box on his dresser. He hated those things with a passion so why his father had bought him one he had no idea... Whatever... Darrea pulled up the Spence Academy site and went to the mail box and signed in under his account. He was almost shaking as his fingers brushed lightly over the keys, not really sure what to write, or how to word it. Vivian knew what had happened with Jacob and knew what was going on with Sophia kinda but then throw Chase into the mix and this was all just messed up!

Message: Yeah, I'm a slut and suddenly I'm not sure how proud of that title I am anymore. Sophia and I are in a relationship and I don't want to screw Jacob over again even though we're technically not talking. But I think I just did, and with a nouveau non the less. I feel awful.... ;_; But he's not totally a Nouveau, he was Chase Crawford, you remember him right? Well we met in the grounds and I kissed him just to get Kelly away from him because really, Kelly has been extra awful lately. But apparently he didn't take it that way, apparently he actually though I liked him. But no, so somehow we ended up agreeing to sleep together later and now I feel like shit >.> I hate myself, I never used to be like this... And I don't know why I'm telling you this, I guess I figured you'd understand the best...

Surprisingly writing it down hadn't made him feel better. His hands were still trembling as he clicked send then sat back in his chair, pulling his knees up to his chest and draping his arms around them and resting his cheek against his knees. He hadn't really eaten since that day with Chase and he hadn't done a lot other then sit in his room and walk his dogs.

This was the first time in a while that she had stayed in for the night. Course she had no idea about what she wanted to do with all her time. She had finished all her school work do for the next week was done, she had nothing to do on the computer and now she was left sitting in her silk p.j bottoms and bra, going through her music and making different types of playlists. She had been talking to Blair on MSN earlier but he had gone out to do something and she had been left alone in the chat room. Then suddenly something went 'bing' and she blinked a few times, opened Safari only to find she had a new message. From Deo, not uncommon but the subject made her eyebrows knit together in confusion. As she read her hand slowly slid to her mouth. Oh crap, this couldn't be good, she had never heard him talk like this before, he always seemed so carefree and easy going but this... How do you respond to this?

And no I'm not going to chew you out for agreeing to sleep with a nouveau, but Crawford? He's like the scum of the Legacy world, you need to seriously go talk a really long really hot bath and scrub yourself. Don't hate yourself Deo, there's nothing wrong with what you did, it's in your nature, so don't feel bad my love, things'll get better, I promise -snugs-.

She clicked send instantly and then covered her face with her hands. This could turn out badly. She wanted nothing more then to go over and hug her brother but a this time of the night she wasn't sure how that would look to everyone else.

Legacy - Wealthy, stunning, comes from well known families and have parents who attended Spence for all four years of their collage year and moved on to do great things. They have ruled the school forever and are definably not thrilled about 'Nouveaus' taking over their school. They are the ones who started the term Nouveau and use it as an insult to the new students. These students are usually the ones who don't have to work hard for their grades and are naturally smart. They are the ones you'll see curing cancer or finding a solution to world hunger. They look down at the Nouveaus and usually just ignore them and hope they go away or openly mock and despise them.
Nouveau - Comes from any class really, these are the students who's parents didn't go to Spence and aren't basically bred to be amazing. They can come from the same world as the Legacies, be just as rich but still the Legacies will forever look down on them. These students are still smart because only the truly amazing students get into Spence. The term Nouveau is not one these students would use because it is what the Legacies labeled them as and it's used as an insult. As much as they seem to hate the Legacies in return they just want to be accepted. Even though are larger in numbers they had absolutely no standing in the school.
11•16•2008 Okay so other then having a new character and member of the moment there isn't much to report. Viv and I have been brainstorming some contests to come like fan fiction contests or maybe art, who knows. We'll get around to those but until then keep up the good work guys, please advertise and keep inviting new members to join us!
her bio thread of interest Vivian never ceases to amaze me, she's one of the best examples of a legacy and I always enjoy reading her threads.
his bio thread of interest Desmond has been here almost every day since joining Spence. She is a pleasure to be around and seemed to have made friends with everyone. So she can have the spotlight on her for a bit, plus you should check out her thread with Vivian, it's rather amusing XD.
