Rules We suggest that you read these and follow these because Spence is a rather strict school. This site on the other hand is not so much. All we really want to focus on is getting away from the whole already decided plot so here we are forbidding OOC planning in any way. MSN MSN messenger is an easy way to keep in touch with friends without having to see them or hear their voice. Everyone at the school is connected on the same network so you can send an invitation to chat to a friend or two or you can put out a random message and see who joins you. A Place To Call Home
Legacy Dorms - Guys (30 sub-boards) These are the nicest dorms in the school, actually until this year this was the only dorm other then the girls and because only the rich kids went here the creation of these dorms was well funded. This building is 3 stories with roughly 10 dorms on each floor. Usually the students had other places to stay while going to school so they didn't build all that many. The School And Its Grounds
Administrative Board (1 sub-board) This is where the administrators conduct their work and conduct the interviews and re-interviews. This is another building beside the academy, a single story building with a considerable amount of rooms. Here is where you will find the principal and board members. Front Steps You'd think these were just steps up into the building, but this is the place that many important events take place. Students get together here to work on homework, buy/sell drugs, and to just talk before the warning bell rings. This place is always busy because not everyone is in school at the same time. But unlike the rest of the school, the legacies don't usually come here now that the nouveaus are here. Moderators: Darrea Kal, Vivian Kaliska, x`desirae
Cafeteria Depending on what period you have lunch in, this is the place you can go (That is if you're not going to sit outside). It is open for breakfast too if you're in the mood for something before you get to class. It is a rather large cafeteria, and there is a small room for the legacies to eat in peace. Of course, you can also take your food out to the courtyard and eat in the sun but make sure to return your dishes! And if you're wondering, the food here has always been amazing... Sports Field Located behind the school this is where all the sports activities are held. There are fields for everything from soccer to baseball along with some basketball and tennis courts. All these are well maintained and kept clean and in top condition so that everything is in working order for the students. If you need any sports equipment then it can be found in the main office, all you have to do it ask and sign it out. Moderators: Darrea Kal, Vivian Kaliska, x`desirae
Greenhouse Located on the roof of the school this greenhouse has an astounding variety of plants and animals. Oh and this greenhouse also doubles as an aviary and butterfly garden so many students love to come and visit here. Moderators: Darrea Kal, Vivian Kaliska, x`desirae
Grounds The grounds is everything thats not the school or the courtyard and covered in grass. The grass is always green and watered every morning religiously because even in a drought the school has enough money to get water. Courtyard In the dead center of the academy is the courtyard. Here students come to hang out in the sun, bask in the fresh green grass, study or whatever. This is open to students and teachers only and at any time so have fun! Moderators: Darrea Kal, Vivian Kaliska, x`desirae

Away From School
Around Spence Most of the students would rather take the hour drive to Long Beach and club rather then take an adventure and wander the surrounding areas. Of course you always get the odd student who likes nature so Spence makes sure to keep the area clean and lovely. You'd be surprised at how much land they own. There are only a few roads from Spence. There's a small coffee shop a little ways away beside a book store and a small boutique but other then that all the shopping has to be done in Long Beach or Vegas if you have the time and the money. But there are things outside of those three little shops you know. Spence is only about a kilometer or two from the beach and really thats not a long walk but if your lazy then there is also a road leading down to it. Aside from the beach there are trails everywhere so you can bike, walk, jog, go horeback riding ect. Depends on what you like. Moderators: Darrea Kal, Vivian Kaliska, x`desirae
Long Beach Largest city within a days drive from Spence. This is the main hang out for most students on the weekends with a lot of teen clubs, clubs, malls and other people. Jobs are here as well, Nouveaus sometimes gets jobs here for extra spending money since the Legacies don't usually have to worry about it. It's a large town, and depending on how fast you drive you could get here in a few hours and party the night away. Just make sure you have a way back! Las Vegas If your over 21 then this place is your best friend. Though it's a good days drive to get here from Spence students often vacation here. You can catch a show, gamble, drink and if you have the cash anything can happen. Parties are constant, some clubs have offers especially for Spence students. Legacy - Wealthy, stunning, comes from well known families and have parents who attended Spence for all four years of their collage year and moved on to do great things. They have ruled the school forever and are definably not thrilled about 'Nouveaus' taking over their school. They are the ones who started the term Nouveau and use it as an insult to the new students. These students are usually the ones who don't have to work hard for their grades and are naturally smart. They are the ones you'll see curing cancer or finding a solution to world hunger. They look down at the Nouveaus and usually just ignore them and hope they go away or openly mock and despise them.
Nouveau - Comes from any class really, these are the students who's parents didn't go to Spence and aren't basically bred to be amazing. They can come from the same world as the Legacies, be just as rich but still the Legacies will forever look down on them. These students are still smart because only the truly amazing students get into Spence. The term Nouveau is not one these students would use because it is what the Legacies labeled them as and it's used as an insult. As much as they seem to hate the Legacies in return they just want to be accepted. Even though are larger in numbers they had absolutely no standing in the school.
11•16•2008 Okay so other then having a new character and member of the moment there isn't much to report. Viv and I have been brainstorming some contests to come like fan fiction contests or maybe art, who knows. We'll get around to those but until then keep up the good work guys, please advertise and keep inviting new members to join us!
